YOUR MUSICAL JOURNEY!
New Generation Audio-Video series

The new generation Audio-Video series is not an evolution of its predecessors - it is a completely new approach to the design and sound of this line. Audio-Video has been a leader in its price group for years, in terms of fine design and sound offered in affordable prices. The style, materials and sound quality of the next Audio-Video generation further strengthen its position as a leader in this segment and far beyond.

TAV-807B is a flagship bookshelf model in the series, which provides the premium sound for the price both in the stereo and multichannel audio systems, which is a hallmark of the Audio-Video series.

As always we mostly focused on intensive listening tests and sound adjustments rather than on creating perfect specifications on paper because music and generally sound is about emotions, feelings and passion.
The final outcome resulted in speakers which offer deep, perfectly controlled and defined bass, smooth and rich midrange and appealing, detailed and crystal clear highs as well as a very open and airy soundstage.

TAV-807B - packed in a compact size, a massive 8” bass-midrange driver, supported by a rear slotted bassreflex port, provides plenty of low extended bass backed up by a tremendous dynamics, usually met in much bigger constructions. Detailed and rich high frequencies with open and natural midrange resemble the sound characteristics and quality of professional stage monitors.

TAV-807B proudly continues the heritage of its predecessors and proves that our Audio-Video series is one of the best bargains in the speakers ever!

KEY FEATURES and changes compared to the previous generation

2nd generation TLIE-I enclosure (Taga Low Interference Enclosures) –more rigid structure to limit unwanted resonances: thicker 21 mm MDF front baffle (was 15 mm) and additional internal bracing.
The steep enclosure top is leaned at around 4 degrees from the front to the rear to further limit unwanted resonances and turbulences.

New high-quality enclosure damping material to better break up the standing waves, lower resonances and limit distortions what improves the smoothness and characteristics of sound in all ranges.

TAGA Harmony new logo badge placed on cabinet front panels, which is elegant and shows our strive and passion for perfect harmony of sound performance.

Upgraded 1” (25 mm) silk dome high-frequency driver with oversized Φ70 magnet, ferrofluid cooling and heavy duty copper voice coil can handle high power and its performance is very accurate, clear, smooth, detailed and airy sound.

2nd generation TWG-I tweeter faceplate  (Taga WaveGuide) - specialized horn-like design of the tweeter's faceplate utilizing concave diffusers assists with equal and flat dispersion of sound in and off the axis of the driver. In the newest edition the shape and depth have been redesigned to allow better flow of sound stream and even wider dispersion which helps to build a more three-dimensional and natural soundstage. Minimizing the number of components means better structural rigidity, lower distortions and resonances.

Upgraded 8” (203 mm) woofer driver - ultra-light polypropylene cone with elastic rubber suspension, Φ100 magnet structure, heavy duty voice coil and coil former copped with more rigid driver chassis are built to withstand higher power handling and longer operation time without increasing driver temperature and in result to generate deeper, more musical and precise bass as well as rich and very natural midrange response. The flat dust cap supports air flow and smoothens the frequency response.

CABINET

TLIE-I – The 2nd generation of Taga Low Interference Enclosures is made of high-quality, high-density MDF boards (21 mm for the front baffle and 12 mm for other walls) with inside braces to increase stiffness and limit any unwanted resonances.

The shapes are perfectly crafted not only to look wonderful and modern but mainly to lower any unwanted vibrations, diffractions or turbulences, which can affect the sound performance.

The steep enclosure top is leaned at around 4 degrees from the front to the rear to further limit unwanted resonances and turbulences.

High-end enclosure damping material is used to better break up the standing waves, lower resonances and limit distortions what improves the smoothness and characteristics of sound in all ranges.

Carefully selected high quality vinyl finishes are very durable, elegant, imitate natural wood texture and are very pleasant in touch. The vinyl finishes are neatly applied to cabinets using precise machinery to provide the best looks.
